What is the ReStore?

Who can shop at the ReStore?

The ReStore is open to the public. Anyone wishing to find bargains in home improvement is welcome to see what treasures they can find.

What is Deconstruction?

Deconstruction is a term used for removing useable items from a home before it is demolished.  Individuals who are tearing down their home can contact the ReStore and arrange a deconstruction project for their home.  Homeowners designate which items they are willing to donate and the deconstruction crew comes and removes these items and takes them to the ReStore where they are resold.  The beauty of deconstruction is that everyone wins.  It keeps good items from going to the landfill; the homeowner gets a tax deduction for their donation; Habitat receives items for the store; and ReStore customers get quality items to purchase. To schedule a deconstruction project contact Dave McLaughlin at the ReStore, 533-1823.
