Women Build

June is Women Build month!

Women Build is Habitat for Humanity's volunteer program for women who want to learn construction skills and make a difference by building homes and communities.

At a Women Build construction site, women provide volunteer labor, from framing to landscaping.

Since 1998, more than 1,500 houses have been built by all-women crews around the world.

No previous experience is necessary to volunteer. The next Elkhart County Women Build will break ground in June of 2010.
