Memorial Build

Chuck Vetter Memorial Build

Chuck Vetter began volunteering with Habitat for Humanity over 35 years ago. Vetter volunteered regularly until 2018 at the age of 92, working on over 190 Habitat homes in Elkhart County. Chuck died peacefully in his home on Christmas day in 2022 with his family by his side.

Habitat is partnering with First Presbyterian Church, where Mr. Vetter was a member, for the Chuck Vetter Memorial Build.  Chuck inspired so many people in his years of volunteer service.

First Presbyterian Church will host the panel build on August 19th with the Storer Family to build their home's interior and exterior walls.
