Application Process
Attend an Informational Meeting
These meetings are typically held twice a year throughout Elkhart County. Participants learn more about homeownership basics and the application process and will be able to pick up a Habitat homeownership application. Attendance at an Informational Meeting is a required step in the application process.
Complete the Application
When your application is complete, schedule a meeting with our Family Services Director to review it. A committee will review the applications and make recommendations to the Board of Directors for approval. Once approved, the ‘process’ is done and the ‘program’ begins.
To be included in our email updates and when the next meetings will be scheduled, please email jennifer@habitatec.com. Also, follow us on Facebook for updates.
