Habitat for Humanity BUILD Capital Campaign
Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County has kicked off its first capital campaign to expand its capacity, services, and impact in Elkhart County.
Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County has built over 220 homes and served thousands of people since its establishment 37 years ago. Habitat improves people's lives by improving their housing stability, which positively impacts their lives, health, and education. Habitat also improves communities as a whole by revitalizing neighborhoods, raising property values and increasing the tax base, and reducing crime. A successful capital campaign will increase these positive impacts exponentially.
Habitat knows that expanding home ownership provides benefits to the entire region as well as the homeowners themselves.
Habitat has set a goal of raising $6 million dollars. Affordable housing is a critical need in our community. Habitat must expand its mission impart through increased housing activity (New Construction, Rehap, and Repair), resulting in at least ten new homes and ten Rehab/Repair projects each year...Forever!
