Save the date for Habitat's Raise the Roof event on Thursday, April 23rd.  It will be an unforgettable evening filled with food, fun, and studs...wall studs.

​

Raise the Roof is a signature fundraising event for Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County. This will be our sixth year, and it has become increasingly popular. This event brings the community together to build two homes before
our guests' eyes.

This year’s event is all about Stud Sales!

Team Sponsors: Golden Hammer

Teams will help raise funds by selling studs — essential 2x4s that will become part of the walls for the two Raise the Roof homes and additional Habitat homes built in 2026.

 

• Each team will have studs available for purchase at their location, online, and at the event.

• The team with the most studs will be crowned the Golden Hammer winner!
   

Table Competition: Silver Hammer  
Guests attending Raise the Roof will also have the chance to join in the fun!  

• Each table will compete to see who purchased the most studs before and during the event. 

• The table with the highest stud sales will win the coveted Silver Hammer.

Every stud sold helps build safe, affordable homes for hardworking families in our community. Each stud can be personalized with messages of encouragement, prayers, or well wishes — adding a meaningful touch to every home built.
