Alexis Pellot is a hardworking single mother of two boys, Alexander (8) and Paris (4), who works as a Dialysis Technician and part-time Firefighter/EMT. After growing up in a Habitat for Humanity home herself, she was inspired to give her children the same stability.

Currently living in a cramped two-bedroom apartment with rising rent and limited space, Alexis was determined to create a better life. Although not accepted into Habitat’s program on her first try, she improved her finances, reapplied, and was thrilled to be accepted.

Now, she’s actively contributing sweat-equity hours and gaining valuable knowledge through homeownership and financial literacy classes. Alexis is excited to give her sons a home of their own—with space to grow, a yard to play in, and a future full of possibility.
