Syrinity Smith Beachy
A homeowner since 2021, Syrinity stepped into a new season of stability and hope after pursuing a better future for herself and her children.
After years of searching for safe and affordable housing, Syrinity felt discouraged by rising rent and the uncertainty it created for her family. Having grown up with a mother who partnered with Habitat, she was familiar with the program but never imagined she would be accepted. When she finally received the news, it felt almost too good to be true. She held onto it quietly at first, waiting for confirmation that it was real. Once it sank in, excitement and gratitude took over as she realized this opportunity would change everything for her family.
As a self-employed massage therapist, Syrinity had built her business to create flexibility so she could be present for her children, Promise and Liam. Through Habitat, she found more than a home. She found a foundation for the life she had been working toward. Built with the support of the faith community and volunteers, her home on Hickory Street became a place where laughter, music, and love could grow.
