Keshia Qaiyim-Conard is a single mom of three-year-old son Nazareth. She and her son share a bedroom. The room is too small to set-up Nazareth’s bed, so he sleeps with his mother.
Keshia has been employed at Boling Vision Center for six years. Keshia is very focused and driven to make a better life for herself and her son.” I don’t want to worry about making a mortgage payment or having to work two jobs.
Keshia enjoys quality time with her family. She is creative, bubbly, and always optimistic. One of her many interests is expressing herself and creating new looks with make-up. Nazareth is a typical three-year-old, he is a happy little guy, who loves to play, and is into super-heroes. He attends daycare while his mom works.
Keisha found out about the Habitat program through her cousin. “I am so grateful to be part of this program. Having a Habitat home means I will have a home I can call my own, and we will finally have our own bedrooms.”
