WINNEBAGO INDUSTRIES WOMEN BUILD
Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County is partnering again with Winnebago Industries to build homes, communities, and hope.
Winnebago Industries and the Winnebago Industries Foundation is committed to investing in our hometown communities where its employees live, work, and explore and is a proud sponsor of this year's Winnebago Industries Women Build.
During this 8-10 week build, volunteers from our community are invited to join. Please follow us on our website and Facebook page for our stories.
What is the Women Build?
The Habitat for Humanity Women Build program recruits, educates, and encourages women to build and advocate for decent and affordable houses in our community.
How does it work?
Habitat invites Women Build teams from our community to participate in our 2023 Women Build to build and help raise funding for the home. Donations towards the WB are welcome - although donations are not required to volunteer and build with us.
Not part of a team?
It is not a requirement to volunteer in a Women Build team. All volunteers are welcome (yes, that includes men). We build Wednesday through Saturday, from 8:30 am to 4 pm, and we will have many open dates to volunteer.
A Note About Men: Everyone is welcome to volunteer on our job site. The goal of Women Build is to empower women, not to exclude men.
